Exploring the Meaning of Being a Goddess

When you hear someone talk about being a goddess, you may think of some “flower power” talk from the 1960s and 1970s. While there is some connection between the two, you will find that such an individual is truly happy, enlightened, and respected in her life, and you may find that is exactly what you want to achieve in your own life.

A Definition of Yourself

It is important to take a step back and look at who you are and how you define yourself. You may define yourself as someone’s mom or someone’s wife, or perhaps by your job title. That may be part of who you are, but you really are much more than that. Consider descriptors of yourself, and not just current descriptors but also descriptors of the person you would like to be.

How to Become a Goddess

When you explore becoming a goddess, you will find that you actually already are! That person you want to be is deep inside you, and you simply have to unleash her. It starts with taking time to reflect on who you are and who you want to be, and then working daily to find happiness in those little things in life. It involves creating the life you want instead of adjusting to life as it is given to you.

Guiding Forces

Every goddess needs a little bit of guidance from time to time. After all, life has a way of throwing you off track. So once you have defined who you are and who you want to be, you will want to seek out a goddess guide of sorts, such as a daily blog, a book that inspires you, or something similar, and this is something you will want to use every day in your life to keep you on the path to living the life you want and being the woman you want to be.
